This is a really strong, characterful piece. You really evoke the vampire's 'pain.'

My quibble is also the hand. Not it itself, but the way the shoulder doesn't quite seem to 'come forward' enough to 'explain' the hand's position.....I thinks it's more to do with background shadowing than anatomy. But it's only a minor point. The painting isn't in anyway 'spoiled.'.

I'm just letting my inner critic vent!
